Kai Bosch continues his mission to become the biggest gay popstar in the universe with his new track ‘Popstar Of Your Dreams’. It’s a shimmer pop anthem that is filled to the brim with glossy hooks, presented with a huge, maximalist flourish. It’s uptempo and at times chaotic in its campness, but there is a serious message about identity and self-work hidden within the track’s lyrics, which are delivered from the perspective of a flawless alter-ego. The track is taken from the upcoming EP of the same name, which drops on May 28th, 2025. He says the EP “was all about taking myself less seriously and getting back to making music for my own enjoyment. I wrote it over a period of time where I was feeling really low about my artist project - I was really falling victim to comparison and external validation and couldn't help but feel like nothing I was doing was enough to achieve the success I've always craved.
